The Kirkwood Group has shopped the world to find dynamic international brands -
brands that we believe will achieve success in the Canadian market.

Grupo Damm
Grupo Damm is one of Spain's top beverage industry companies. In 1876 August Kuentzmann Damm arrived in Barcelona from Alsace and founded Cervecera Damm, Spain's oldest Brewery. It merged with two other Spanish breweries in 1910 to become S.A. Damm, and in 1992 opened Spain's most advanced brewery, El Prat, in Barcelona. In 2001 the company acquired four new beer brands, two water brands and a new logistics company, and became the Damm Group. Now, for every five beers sold in Spain one is from Damm. Damm is the partner of Anheuser Busch for the marketing and distribution of Budweiser in Spain, and brews Budweiser for Spain, as well as for some other European Countries and the Middle East.

Estrella Damm
A pale lager with 4.6% alc./vol. Refreshing, smooth and crisp, it has a strong, but not bitter taste, and is recognized as one of the top-quality beers in Spain. As the "beer of Barcelona", it is the only beer brewed in the city, and for every 10 beers sold in Barcelona, eight are Estrella Damm. The packaging, with its eye-catching and dynamic crimson background and gold "estrella" (star), stresses its Barcelona origin, and transmits the quality of a premium lager. Awards include the 2004 Gold medal at World Beer Championship, Chicago, and the 1998 Gold medal at The World Beer Championship, Australia. Estrella Damm is also available in a gluten-free version: Estrella DAMM Dora.
Estrella DAMM Inedit
was created through a unique collaboration between the world renowned chef Ferran Adrià, who has acquired a multitude of prizes and awards for his contributions to gastronomy, and the culinary staff at his famous El Bulli restaurant, which has been awarded three Michelin stars and been voted World's Best Restaurant three times in the last five years and Gruppo Damm. Inedit was born from the conviction that it's necessary to have a beer capable of accompanying the best gastronomy with the utmost respect without interfering with the taste and qualities of food. It is a unique combination of barley and wheat malts, hops, coriander, orange peel, liquorice, yeast and water. After the bottling, a second fermentation happens leading to natural sedimentation. The result is a unique beer which is slightly cloudy, fruity to the taste and with floral notes, pronounced intensity with a complex aroma and an opaque appearance. Very fruity and floral on the nose, it leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. On the palate, it is delicately carbonic with a fresh and creamy texture and a soft full body, and a long and mild finish. It is recommended that Estrella Damm Inedit's bottle be served to the table chilled in an ice bucket, and enjoyed in a white wine glass, taking care not to fill more than half glass in order to appreciate all its virtues. If stored in the optimum conditions, Estrella Damm Inedit will continue to mature, evolving further taste and aromatic notes.
Estrella Damm Daura
Estrella Damm Daura, the gluten-free version of Estrella Damm pale lager, has a refreshing, smooth and crisp, strong, but not bitter taste. The gluten contained in the barley malt is hydrolyzed during its production, resulting in gluten content of less than 6 PPM (the definition of ‘guten-free’ is less than 20 PPM). For Celiacs, this is the world’s only gluten-free beer that tastes like beer.
It contains 5.4% alc./vol.
