Sileni Estates is a major vineyard and winery development in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand's oldest established vineyard area. The first vintage was in 1998 and since then the wines have won world-wide acclaim. The company is names after the Sileni who featured in Roman mythology alongside Bacchus, the god of Wine; they celebrated good wine, good food and good company.

Sileni boasts a state-of-the-art winery designed to crush more than 1,500 tonnes of grapes. Its winemakers honed their skills in Alsace, Bordeaux, Burgundy, California, Chile and Oregon. Sileni Estates strives to maintain high standards in environmentally sustainable viticultural and winemaking practices. Cellar Selection Sauvignon Blanc

Ripe tropical and gooseberry fruit flavours with a zingy finish and impeccable balance. A great aperitif or seafood wine made for drinking young. Serve lightly chilled. Excellent with seafood.

Cellar Selection Chardonnay

Citrus and nectarine flavours backed up with sweet oak and lees stirred complexity. It is made in an early drinking style, but will comfortably cellar for the next 2-3 years. Enjoy with fish, poultry and dishes with light creamy sauces.

Cellar Selection Pinot Noir

Concentrated black cherry and dark berry aromas which follow through to the palate where dark berryfruit and cherry flavours are supported by soft tannins. This is a ripe and deeply coloured food wine, designed for early drinking but capable of cellaring for 3-5 years. Excellent with hearty pastas, duck and New Zealand lamb.

Cellar Selection Merlot

Great colour and aromas of plum and dark berryfruit are typical of Hawke’s Bay Merlot. Silky tannins give it a soft finish for early drinkability and the depth of fruit gives it the ability to cellar for 4-5 years. Enjoy with hearty pastas, beef and New Zealand lamb.

Cellar Selection Sauvignon Blanc Sparkling

Classic stonefruit fruit and gooseberry flavours with a crisp, clean finish. Drink young, fresh and chilled. Great as an aperitif, or with seafood or hors d’oeuvres.
