Radeberger Gruppe

The Radeberger Gruppe, part of the Oetker Group, is one of Germany's leading brewers. Its top products include beers such as Clausthaler (nonalcoholic), Radeberger Pilsner, Binding Lager, DAB Original lager, Berliner Kindl, Schöfferhofer Weizen, Ur-Krostitzer, and the mineral water brand Selters. Radeberger focuses on expanding sales of its beers into Central Europe. Founded in 1870, Radeberger Gruppe is the brewing arm of the diversified Oetker Group. The company owns the Krusovice Brewery in the Czech Republic. In Germany, Radeberger controls a majority stake in Brau und Brunnen. Together, the two make up the largest brewer in Germany.

Radeberger
Radeberger has been brewed in the Dresden suburb of Radeberg since 1866. Dresden, a city of art and culture known as "Florence on the River Elbe", is the royal seat of Saxon kings. In 1905 His Majesty, King Frederic August III of Saxony decreed that the Radeberg Export Brewery would become "Royal Court Brewer" of Saxony, and in 1910 Radeberger received a record 13 brewing industry awards.

Radeberger was the first German pilsner to be exported to North America. One of the continent's most popular beers, more than one million cases were being shipped to Canada and the U.S. annually by the start of the Second World War. Exports ceased with the hostilities but with the fall of the Iron Curtain and German Unification, Radeberger is once again available to North American beer lovers.

One of Germany's top-10 beers, Radeberger is brewed by The Binding Group, Germany's largest brewing company.

Radeberger Pilsner
Radeberger Pilsner

Radeberger Pilsner
Established in 1872, Radeberger was the first German "pils", or beer brewed in the authentic pilsner style by skilled brewmasters. It boasts the smooth, highly fermented, rich taste characteristic of Northern German beers, featuring Perle hops and full-flavoured malts.

This premium-quality pilsner has long been known in Germany as the beer of the elite. Radeberger's bold gold on black graphics bring its quality image to the forefront.

DAB's brewing heritage dates from 1868. It is now part of the Radeberger Gruppe, Germany's largest brewing company.

Brewed according to the exacting standards of the German Purity Law of 1516, DAB Original is a bottom fermented premium pilsner style lager with a clean refreshing palate and a slightly dry finish. DAB is brewed with only pure natural ingredients: soft spring water, high-quality barley, specially selected Bavarian hops and a unique strain of yeast.

Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen
Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen
Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen, a premium product, is known as "the Champagne of wheat beers". It is an excellent example of the famous brew with the clove-like aroma that many enjoy garnished with a slice of lemon. Of course, it should always be served in the traditional tall, vase-shaped glass. Schöfferhofer won the 2001 International Beer Awards "Grand Champion Trophy" for the highest-scoring beer out of 492 entries from 27 countries and 81 breweries. It has has received international recognition and is now the market leader in both the central German state of Hessen as well as in Berlin, Germany's capital. It is one of Germany's best selling wheat beers, despite the fact that it is produced in Frankfurt and not in Bavaria, where wheat beer traditionally originates.

Schöfferhofer Grapefruit is an unconventional wheat beer brand. The colour of mandarin orange, it is a sparkling grapefruit beer: 50% Schöfferhofer Wheat Beer and 50% Grapefruit Juice, with 2.5% alc./vol. This refeshing beverage comes in a clear glass 330 ml bottle, with elegant, highly recognizable, upscale packaging that reinforces its unique grapefruit flavour.
